The German Foreign Minister called on international partners to provide Ukraine with air defense systems.
Western countries need to help Ukraine protect critical infrastructure in winter by providing air defense systems. German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock said this in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
According to him, Ukraine first of all needs strong air defense, because the issue of protecting electricity, water and heat supplies before the onset of cold weather is urgent.
“Therefore, I am appealing to us and our partners: We need to create an air defense shield on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine,” Burbock emphasized.
We remind you that on September 11, the German Foreign Minister visited Ukraine. Burbock
met with the President of Ukraine. One of the topics of discussion was the strengthening of air defense.
