This was written about on September 11 on the Facebook page of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
They discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine, which will take place next week at the Ramstein airbase in Germany.
Let us recall that in early September, Alexey Reznikov resigned from the post of Minister of Defense, and Rustem Umerov took his place.
This is already the 18th head of the Ministry of Defense of independent Ukraine, not counting the acting ones.
One of the first initiatives of the new minister was the introduction of a new post in the army: a military ombudsman will appear in Ukraine.
The military ombudsman is supposed to “ensure that the rights of soldiers to be equipped, have everything they need for war and win it are respected.”
Today, the country has a Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, a Children’s Ombudsman, an Educational Ombudsman, and a Business Ombudsman.
