The KH-S7 drone carries a standard payload of one kilogram over a distance of seven to nine kilometers.
In Ukraine, the domestic attack FPV drone KH-S7, designed to engage various mobile and stationary ground targets, has been approved for use in the army, reports ArmyInform.
It was noted that the drone began to be developed last summer. The team brought together like-minded people, including engineers and military personnel who had been interested in and worked with UAVs as a hobby for years.
It is stated that the KH-S7 FPV drone carries an average useful weight of 1 kilogram at a distance of 7 km, the power is enough for more, but there are many conditions. According to the domestic UAV developers, the Ukrainian military used the maximum KH-S7 at a range of 9.5 km.
The drone is digital, provides FullHD image quality and helps in conducting additional reconnaissance during the mission.
“We put the main emphasis on its reliability and power, using only top-end spare parts and systems. All the parts here are from the best manufacturers in the world, with whom we have direct contracts . So our drone is truly a “workhorse,” said the manufacturer’s representative Vadim.
He noted that their company received permission to operate under an accelerated procedure. According to him, for experienced operators, the FPV drone is very easy to fly.
The manufacturer is currently scaling up the production of KH-S7 FPV drones to meet the existing needs of the Ukrainian army. The registration process for the next development, the KH-S10 drone, is also ongoing, to carry up to 3 kg of weight and perform a universal strike and bomber role in one drone.
It was previously reported that in Ukraine three state defense factories have started production of FPV drones.
We remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially adopted the tenth model of the FPV drone.
