Due to the intensified shelling, in addition to the Donetsk region, DTEK power engineers are also restoring power grids in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Over the past day, DTEK’s repair teams have resumed power supply for 50,000 families in the Donetsk region, said Dmitry Sakharuk, the company’s executive director.
In total, power supply was restored to 27 communities in the Bakhmut and Slavyansk districts.
Sakharuk noted that in most houses during the war, the light was turned back on 5-10 times.
Also recently, power engineers are restoring power supply to 3-5 thousand consumers weekly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where enemy firing intensified.
The situation in the de-occupied territories is stable.
“In the Kyiv region, we are completing a connection point for the houses that residents are returning to,” Sakharuk stressed.
It should be noted that in May DTEK resumed power supply to 579 communities of the Donetsk region, restoring electricity to 650,000 families. Also, the power supply of the liberated territories of the Kyiv region has been fully restored.
