The attack took place in the Natspolsk Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
According to police, two men came to the house, one of them got out of the car and attacked the women, who were wounded by a knife. The attackers then fled, and neighbors heard screams and alerted emergency services.
“One of the victims was taken to hospital by ambulance, one died at the age of 29, despite resuscitation measures being taken,” the report said.
At the time of the attack, there were two children (aged 2.5 years and 5 months) in the apartment. They were also taken to the hospital for examination.
The car in which the attackers fled a few kilometers away crashed and slipped into the ditch. First, one of the attackers was detained – he was in a state of intoxication. Another was detained a few hours later, he turned out to be a citizen of Ukraine.
Recall that from July 1, the Polish authorities will stop paying to certain categories of refugees from Ukraine a daily allowance for food and housing in the amount of 40 złoty per person (about 280 hryvnia).
