The Ministry of Economy states that despite recent growth, by 2023 the cost of “blue” fuel will drop three times.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine published on Friday, September 8, the actual selling price of natural gas in Ukraine for August 2023.

In particular, its cost is 12,500 Hryvnia per 1 thousand cubic meters without VAT. This is 15.5% more than a month earlier.

Gas prices are rising for the second month in a row. However, in the past year the price has dropped more than three times.

The average price of gas is calculated using a formula for the purpose of the Tax Code of Ukraine to collect rent for the use of subsoil.

We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers made a decision to ensure the stability of heat tariffs for the population in the new heating season.

Naftogaz has promised that gas prices will not increase
