The Social Fund of Russia refused to explain to journalists why it was decided to hide this information.

The Russian Social Fund has stopped publishing data from the Federal Register of Disabled Persons, which helped journalists determine the number of Russian wounded in the war in Ukraine. This was reported on Wednesday, September 6, by the Russian edition of Meduza, which positions itself as an opposition.

When navigating to the disability section page, a 404 error message appears: “Sorry, the page you are looking for does not seem to exist or has probably been moved.”

Until August 2023, the site indicated data on the number of disabled people who were granted the appropriate official status in each constituent entity of the Russian Federation, media reports.

Representatives of the Social Fund refused to tell reporters why this data has been classified.

“Please contact Rosstat for this data,” they responded to a request.

In early summer, the status of a military invalid after a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine was granted to about five thousand people.

Recall that Russia recruited Cuban citizens to participate in the war against Ukraine.

As we already reported, advertisements started appearing on the screens of Kazakh Internet users offering immediate payment of more than $5,000 for joining the Russian army.
