In the state of Nebraska, USA, there was a strange incident involving a drunk driver. The man drove into the oncoming lane of the highway and called the police himself. Jalopnik writes about it.
The incident, which took place in March of this year, has puzzled the police.
“I was driving north on Highway 77 and someone was driving on the wrong side of the road,” the man said.
He even lamented that because of the “violator” he almost had an accident. And later he added that there are several such drivers.
A police officer who came to the call a few minutes later found out that it was the same driver who had contacted the police. His blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit.
Recall that earlier in the United States, a car thief stole a car with a passenger.
