The Netflix platform presented the documentary series “Mothers of War”, in which the Ukrainian military writer Pavlo Vyshebaba was declared dead.

This greatly surprised Paul himself. According to him, the Polish authors of the film did not coordinate anything with him (because they considered him dead, obviously).
Netflix did not have time to say hello to me, as they immediately said goodbye. The documentary series “Mothers of War” released on their platform turned out to be not quite documentary. It ends with a story about me with a bunch of photos and videos, reading lines from my poems. Suddenly, dramatic music sounds, the video turns from color to black and white, and the narrator says that Vyshebaba died near Severodonetsk,” Vyshebaba wrote.
The documentary film Matki Wojny (“Mothers of War”) produced by Poland was released in October 2022. The series premiered on Netflix on August 24, 2023.
In a comment by IMI, Vyshebaba noted that he would not sue the platform and the authors of the film and hoped that they would respond to his post.
I asked the lawyers how much it would cost to prepare a claim or a lawsuit. And that’s the price of three fpv drones, so I gave it up and I hope that the authors will notice my message and think about how to fix the mistake, he said.
