LDNR banned Viber

“LPR” says that with the help of Viber, the Ukrainian military calculates things, which are subsequently attacked.

The group “LPR” announced that from June 3 will temporarily restrict access to Viber messenger in some areas in the Luhansk region. This was reported by the publication News of Donbass.

The group said it was “a response to the ever-increasing use of the service as part of enemy military infrastructure to obtain data on geolocations and locate our critical military-civilian infrastructure.” Illegal armed groups say that using Viber, the Ukrainian military calculates things for which the militants have not explained how exactly they use the messenger for military purposes.

The “L-DPR” groups blocked access to Facebook and Instagram in the territory under their control. In a similar explanation, access to Facebook and Instagram is also banned in Russia. The Kremlin called Meta an “extremist organization”.

It will be recalled that earlier in the “LDNR” they said that in order to organize “voting” in the occupied Ukrainian territories, it is necessary to create “appropriate conditions”.
