Ukraine is turning to partner countries for the supply of additional missile defense and air defense systems, as well as combat aircraft.
During a mass attack in Ukraine on Monday night, Russian-launched Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones fell and exploded in neighboring Romania. This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko on Facebook on September 4.
“According to the information of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, this evening during a massive Russian attack in the area of Izmail port, Russian “Shaheds” fell and detonated on the territory of Romania. This is another confirmation that the Russian missile Terrorism poses a great threat not only to the security of Ukraine, but also to the security of neighboring countries, especially NATO member states,” Nikolenko wrote.
In this regard, Ukraine turned to partner countries for the supply of additional anti-missile and air defense systems, as well as military aviation.
“We encourage our partners to accelerate the provision of Ukraine with additional modern anti-missile and air defense systems, as well as combat aircraft, which will strengthen the protection of the infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as neighboring states, ” the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry. added.
It will be remembered that tonight Russia attacked the south and east of Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 drones with Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. A total of 32 drones were released. Air defense forces shot down 23 drones. Hits were recorded in the Izmail and Dnieper regions.
