A 43-year-old man and his 42-year-old wife died. The couple’s 19-year-old daughter and another 53-year-old local resident were injured.
Today, September 2, in Vuhledar, Donetsk region, as a result of the Russian attack, two civilians were killed and two others were injured. This was reported to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
With the shelling of the city, an investigation was launched into criminal proceedings into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.
“On September 2, 2023, the Russian army apparently launched an air strike on the city of Vugledar. The residential development was at the center of the hits. As a result of the explosion in one of the high-rise buildings, a 43- year-old man and his 42-year-old wife were killed. The couple’s nineteen-year-old daughter and another local resident, aged 53, were injured and taken to a medical facility for emergency medical care with mine-explosive injuries, contusions and bruises on the body,” the report said.
It was also reported that the explosions destroyed part of the entrance of a residential building, damaged ceilings, windows and balconies.
Earlier it was reported that during the shelling of the city in Sumy region, two power engineers were injured.
In another attack in the city of Seredina-Buda in the Sumy region, a policeman was killed.
