Today, September 2, clashes broke out in Tel Aviv between supporters and opponents of the Eritrean government dictatorship and the police, as a result of which about 140 people were injured. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
The first clashes are said to have broken out between police and opponents of the Asmara regime at the site of an event organized by the Eritrean embassy. Protesters stormed the fence and started pogroms. Law enforcement officers used light and noise grenades.
Later, the police felt their lives were in danger and opened fire.

Law enforcement later reported that the situation in Tel Aviv was under control. Eritrean citizens involved in the clashes were taken to their homes.
