Poland closed the largest reception center for Ukrainian refugees in Nadarzyn (30 km from Warsaw). This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to The Financial Times.
It was reported that the center was supposed to be temporary, and its closure was justified by the fact that “the number of refugees arriving in the region from Ukraine is negligible.”
Previously, the center housed up to 9,000 Ukrainian refugees. The last 300 people who lived there were transferred to other centers.
Note that the number of Ukrainian refugees in Poland is decreasing. One of the reasons is the return of children to Ukrainian schools.
