STM CEO Ozgur Gülerüz said that the work related to the unmanned underwater autonomous vehicle announced at IDEF-23 is progressing rapidly, and the vehicle prototype will be presented at its end or early next year.

“Our goal in the first stage is to develop an unmanned autonomous underwater vehicle that can be used to detect and destroy mines. We hope that the prototype will be ready no later than the beginning of 2024,” said Guleryuz.

Earlier it was reported that the donors planned to allocate $ 244 million to Ukraine for special mine-cleaning equipment.
