Sappers from units operating in the direction of Zaporizhia rejected five Russian anti-personnel mines on the path of the IAEA mission.
Ukrainian sappers discovered enemy mines on the IAEA’s path to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and promptly defused them. This was announced by the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops Tavria Alexander Tarnavsky.
“Sappers from units operating in the direction of Zaporizhia defused five Russian anti-personnel mines on the mission path,” Tarnavsky wrote.
As is known, the mission of the IAEA, which monitors the state of security in the conditions of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, has been rotated in the ZNPP.
Recall that this is not the first time that enemy mines have been discovered on the path of the IAEA mission to the ZNPP. In early August, sappers managed to deactivate two Russian anti-personnel mines.
It was earlier reported that IAEA observers recorded explosions near the ZNPP.
