To collect evidence, a special secure portal was created, with the help of which the image of the crimes was restored.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, which launched an investigation into war crimes in Ukraine, has already collected thousands of pieces of evidence. This was stated by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan, reports Ukrinform.

It was reported that a special secure portal was created to collect evidence.

“We need a different way to communicate with either side of the conflict with relevant information. And if we get that, we can analyze and see what kind of picture comes out. Pictures, and then present the them in the courts, and then the judges will do their job to decide what the evidence specifically points to, ”Karim Khan said.

The prosecutor noted that the method used was very important in terms of establishing relationships with victims and witnesses, regardless of whether they were in Ukraine or abroad.

Recall that ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan visited Ukraine, specifically Bucha, and assembled a group of investigators collecting evidence in the liberated territories.
