PMC Wagner offered the mercenaries to find other work due to competition with the Russian Defense Ministry and National Guard in Africa and the Middle East.
The Russian private military company Wagner no longer has a chance to fight in Ukraine, as well as in Syria and African countries, the mercenaries are being replaced by the structures of the Russian Defense Ministry and the National Guard. This was reported by the Russian edition of the Important Story.
It was noted that an audio message from one of the unknown leaders of the “Wagnerites” was distributed on the information networks of the PMCs (publication sources confirmed that this was one of the commanders of the mercenaries – ed.), Where he complains that Prigozhin’s mercenaries are no longer allowed to fight in Ukraine, and in Africa and the Middle East, their contracts are trying to block the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the National Guard.
The audio message says that after the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the mercenaries have “stiff competition in front of the Ministry of Defense and the Russian Guard, which are also planning and trying to enter there with similar activities that we have carried out. “
Therefore, the militant complains that the mercenaries can still expect to receive the work, but “when and in what volumes is still unknown,” but for now he advises the “Wagnerites” to wait or seek other ways to earn money.
“If our team is admitted to the SVO (this is how the war against Ukraine is called in Russia – ed.), then we will continue active recruitment activities,” he said.
The publication writes that the Russian authorities are working to replace PMC Wagner in African countries with similar structures controlled and financed by the Kremlin – in particular, the so-called PMC Convoy of the head of the Crimean occupation authorities , Sergei Aksyonov. According to journalists, this development received significant funding, including from the Russian bank VTB.
Recall that the Kremlin said that they still do not know about the prospects for PMC Wagner after the death of its founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, moreover, such a structure does not legally exist.
