The former president considers current head of state Joe Biden involved in the allegations against him.
Former US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to send his political enemies to prison if he is re-elected in the 2024 elections. At the same time, he indicated that he considers Biden to be one such opponent, reports The Guardian.
The reporter asked Trump if he regretted not jailing Hillary Clinton’s opponent and if he would “shut down” his current “political opponents”, to which Trump replied in the affirmative.
“The answer is: I don’t have a choice because they’re doing this to us,” Trump said.
He also added that he considers current US President Joe Biden to be involved in the allegations against him.
It will be recalled that on August 23, Trump surrendered himself under a formal procedure at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on more than ten charges related to his attempts to revoke the results of the state’s 2020 presidential election.
Trump spent just over 20 minutes in jail for the papers and was released on $200,000 bail. They took his fingerprints and took pictures in prison.
