Kuleba noted that there is a safe sea route, where the two ships leave Ukrainian ports.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine is interested in continuing the operation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, at the same time, it intends to develop an alternative route for the export of agricultural products, which has already been used by two ships. He said this at a joint briefing with his French colleague Catherine Colonna in Paris, Ukrinform reports.
“We, as a state, have shown that there is an alternative to agreements with Russia. There is a safe sea route, where two ships leave Ukrainian ports. This route will not be hostage to Russian blackmail ,” said Kuleba.
According to him, this path can be developed and strengthened. He discussed this issue with the head of the French Foreign Ministry.
French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna emphasized that France’s support for Ukraine will increase and continue until it stops the aggression of the Russian Federation.
“France will provide Ukraine with support in all areas: political, economic, humanitarian, diplomatic and, of course, military – to help Ukraine ensure its legitimate right to defense. This support will not only continue, but will also increase. This will continue as long as it takes to defeat the Russian invasion,” he said.
Recall that the European Commission is working to increase the capacity of “solidarity corridors” until September 15, when restrictions on the export of Ukrainian grain to five countries should be lifted.
As reported, Ukraine exported more grain than last year.
