The captain of the fire service and the woman in the building were killed. Four other people were injured.
In the US state of Florida, a rescue helicopter crashed into a residential building. Two people died and four were injured, the New York Post reported on August 28.
It is known that the incident occurred on Monday morning in Pompano Beach, when the helicopter flew to the call.
Broward County Sheriff’s Fire and Rescue Service medic Capt. Terrison Jackson, 50, was killed, along with a woman who lived in the home.
The injured, including two firefighters and two city residents, were hospitalized. There is no threat to their lives.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
