The Syrian Defense Ministry said Israel launched a missile attack on Aleppo International Airport. This was reported on August 28 by the SANA agency.

It is known that the attack from the Mediterranean Sea was made at 04:30. As a result of the shooting, the runway was damaged and material damage was caused.

According to Al Hadath TV channel, the Israeli Air Force attacked the weapons depots of pro-Iranian Shiite militias fighting on the side of the Syrian army.

No data on losses.

The Syrian Ministry of Transport has warned about the temporary diversion of all flights from Aleppo to Latakia and Damascus airports.

Aleppo airport has been closed twice this year due to Israeli air strikes.

In March, the air harbor did not work for two weeks, and in May for several days.
