On the evening of Monday, August 28, in Moscow, the airports of Vnukovo and Domodedovo were closed for receiving and sending aircraft. This was reported by the Russian media.
“More than 15 departure and arrival flights were delayed in Vnukovo and Domodedovo,” RIA Novosti said in a statement.
They wrote on social networks that they announced the “Carpet” plan, which is introduced when unknown or dangerous objects are found in the sky.
Remember that recently in Moscow airports are closed several times a week because of UAVs. So, on August 26, all airports in Moscow were closed, the “Carpet” plan was introduced. And on August 22, it was reported that explosions were heard in the Moscow region, and airports did not work.
Two days before, the Russian airports Domodedovo and Vnukovo also did not receive or send planes because of the “Carpet” mode.
