Russia is ready to provide a safe passage for ships for grain exports, but for this Ukraine must clear the sea.
Russia is ready to provide Ukraine with a safe corridor in the Black Sea to ensure grain exports. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, reports TASS.
“Russia is ready to provide safe passage for grain export ships from Ukrainian ports,” he said.
According to him, for Ukraine must clear the sea.
Recall that Turkey has prepared a roadmap to export Ukrainian grain.
It was previously reported that in order to export Ukrainian grain by sea, Russia must withdraw its fleet and provide security guarantees of non-aggression to ports and commercial convoys. This was stated on Thursday by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nikolenko in response to a statement by the Russian Federation about its readiness to enter grain -bearing vessels into the Mediterranean Sea if Ukraine removes the ports of the mines.
