Oleg Nikolenko said that the Ukrainian consuls are cooperating with the Italian police to clarify all the circumstances of the accident.
The Consulate General in Milan is providing assistance to four Ukrainians who were injured in an accident in northern Italy. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
“Four citizens were hospitalized in serious condition in medical institutions in the cities of Udine and Trieste. The remaining passengers were given the necessary medical assistance on the spot and were temporarily placed in special rescue service centers near the city of Udine ,” the spokesperson explained.
According to him, transportation for the return of Ukrainians should be provided by the carrier in the near future.
He added that Ukrainian consuls are cooperating with Italian law enforcement officials to clarify all the circumstances of the accident, and also monitor the treatment of injured Ukrainians.
