His opponent is Briton Daniel Dubois, the WBA Regular heavyweight champion of the world and the mandatory contender for the fight against Usyk. Oleksandr Usyk will have his 21st professional fight and you can watch it online.
The fight will be the main event of a large-scale boxing show under the auspices of K2 Promotions in collaboration with Knockout Promotions and Skill Challenge Promotions.
Usyk and Dubois will enter the ring of the Tarczyński arena in Wroclaw.
It was in Poland 7 years ago that Oleksandr Usyk’s path to the title of absolute cruiserweight champion began with a victory over Krzysztof Golowacki, the WBO world champion. Now the invincible Ukrainian will conquer the Polish ring on the way to the absolute championship in the heavyweight division. Now, before this title, he lacks only the WBC belt, owned by Briton Tyson Fury.
Dubois had 20 fights in his professional career, won 19 times, 18 of them by knockout. The only defeat of the British puncher, nicknamed Dynamite, suffered from countryman Joseph Joyce in 2020.
The undercards of the boxing show will feature fights of other Ukrainian fighters – Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Vasily Chebotar, Yaroslav Khartsiz, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin, Alexander Solomennikov.
You can watch the event on the MEGOGO channel (for a fee).
Live boxing with Oleksandr Usyk starts on August 26 after 23:55.
