Two sisters posted on social networks a video of dancing in a cemetery near military graves. Less than an hour later, law enforcement officers located them and took them to the police station. For the committed they face up to 5 years in prison.

The video was recorded by law enforcement officers on the evening of August 24. On it, girls danced on the graves of dead soldiers in one of the capital’s cemeteries. To work out the information, operatives from the criminal investigation department of the Kyiv police and analysts from the capital’s central office were immediately involved.
Law enforcement officers of Kyiv handed over the orientation to violators to all police units. Less than an hour later, patrolmen stopped the Kiev women near the Zolotye Vorta metro station and took them to the Desnyansky police department.
As it became known, two sisters came to the Forest Cemetery and decided in this way to honor the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
Investigators of the Desnyansky police department, in agreement with the district prosecutor’s office, began criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – desecration of the grave. The issue of reporting suspicion to them is being resolved.
The defendants are threatened with restriction of liberty for a period of three to five years or imprisonment for the same period.
