An Embraer business jet with 10 people on board has crashed in Russia. Among the passengers were Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin.
On the night of August 23, the Embraer business jet of Wagner PMC leader Yevgeny Prigozhin crashed in the Tver region. The plane flew from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The plane crash killed 10 people.
The Federal Air Transport Agency officially announced that Prigozhin was listed among the plane’s passengers. However, whether he was actually on board is conflicting information. Moreover, some Russian media claimed that the commander of the Wagner PMC, Dmitry Utkin, was on the plane.
He lowered his air defense
Russian media wrote that, most likely, Prigozhin’s plane was shot down by two S-300 missiles. By the way, not far from the crash site is the S-300PS air defense system.

However, another part of the Russian media began to write about the “correct” version: allegedly two explosions rocked the plane and they called the crash a “terrorist attack.”

It should be noted that Prigozhin’s other aircraft were flying behind the Embraer. After the first one fell, he immediately turned around. Some public say that the leader of the “Wagnerites” often checked in for a flight, but boarded another plane. Therefore, they admitted that Prigogine could be on this plane.
