The actions of Moscow and Minsk are already changing the security architecture in Europe and the situation not only for NATO’s eastern flank, but for the entire North Atlantic Alliance. This was announced on August 22 by Polish President Andrzej Duda at a press conference with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, AP reports.
Indeed, this process is underway, we are observing it,” the Polish President noted.
The head of Portugal added that he was sympathetic to Poland’s concerns and promised further support within NATO on behalf of the country.
It should be reminded that on May 25, the Russian Federation and Belarus signed documents defining the procedure for keeping Russian non-strategic nuclear weapons in a special storage facility in Belarus. The agreement provides that Moscow will control the “nuclear” that it will supply to the regime of self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko.
In June, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that some of the nuclear weapons were already in Belarus.
And in mid-July, the American media, citing the intelligence of the United States, reported that Russian tactical nuclear weapons had already been deployed on the territory of Belarus.
