Officials have reduced the number of documents that must be submitted to obtain UBD status. Now it is necessary to provide only a certificate of direct participation of a citizen in the defense of Ukraine. This will be the basis for granting the status of a participant in hostilities. Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, announced this on Telegram.
The procedure for granting the status of a participant in hostilities has been simplified by reducing the number of documents submitted for consideration by the relevant commission on determining the status of a participant in hostilities, the report says.
As you know, in Ukraine the status of a participant in hostilities allows you to get a number of advantages. The Pension Fund of Ukraine recalled that citizens with this status can receive a 75% discount on a communal apartment. This benefit is valid for life.
Recall that in the spring in Ukraine they introduced a one-time payment of cash assistance in case of disability or death due to war. In case of death resulting from injury, payments amount to UAH 1 million, and in case of establishing a disability group from III to I, resulting from injury, from UAH 200,000 to 800,000.
