Law enforcement officials detained another informant of the FSB of the Russian Federation, who was collecting intelligence in the front-line territory of the Donetsk region. This was reported by the SBU.
It was noted that the lawyer from Kramatorsk in 2019-2022 lived on the territory of the Russian Federation and contacted the intelligence service of the aggressor country. At the beginning of the whole invasion of Russia, he returned to Kramatorsk, and in the spring of this year he received his first assignment from his “curator” from the FSB.
According to the SBU, at the direction of the Russian special service, the person involved monitored the places of temporary deployment and movement routes of the Defense Forces in the front-line city. The invaders are interested in the exact coordinates of the Ukrainian checkpoints and the approximate number of military personnel present, their weapons and military equipment.

During the search, two mobile phones, bank cards and “replaceable” SIM cards were confiscated from the defendant, with which he registered instant messengers to communicate with the FSB.
The detainee is informed about the suspicion of collaborative activities. While he is in custody, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
