The number of mercenaries from PMC Wagner in Belarus decreased from 5.8 thousand to 4.4 thousand people.

Russian PMC Wagner mercenaries are leaving Belarus due to lack of income. The Center of National Resistance reported this in connection with the information of Belarusian partisans on Saturday, August 19.

“The Belarusian underground records the decrease of terrorists from PMC Wagner in the country from 5.8 thousand to 4.4 thousand. The reason is the lack of funding from Russia. Therefore, some of the mercenaries signed a contract and left for in African countries, some continued vacation, but plan or move to other terrorist structures or even stop,” the message said.

It is also argued that the regime in Belarus has not yet satisfied Wagner educators with the level of its payment for services. Therefore, most instructors do not plan to stay in this country for a long time.

Earlier, information appeared that Russia probably stopped funding PMC Wagner. Mercenaries can be paid by the Belarusian authorities.
