In the Tauride direction during the past day, the enemy’s losses amounted to 234 people – 64 dead, 168 wounded and seven prisoners. This was announced on Friday, August 18, by the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping of troops, General Alexander Tarnavsky.
“The Tauride direction. The active work of the Defense Forces continues. The artillery units of our army completed 1,402 fire missions during the day,” he wrote.
Tarnavsky noted that over the past 24 hours, the enemy’s losses in killed, wounded and captured amounted to 234 people (64 killed, 168 wounded, seven prisoners).
In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed 20 pieces of enemy military equipment. Specifically, one Ka-52 attack helicopter, one tank, six artillery systems and mortars, one UAV, six vehicles and five special equipment.
Three ammunition depots were also liquidated.
Remember, according to the General Staff, just this past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 460 invaders, and in total, more than 256,000 Russian soldiers died since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
