Every month about 20 thousand people are mobilized for the war against Ukraine. Recently, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that allegedly 45,000 Muscovites are supposedly at the front. Prior to that, this figure was 35 thousand fighters. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this on August 18 at a briefing.
According to him, the mayor actually admitted that in just a few months, about 10,000 additional people were mobilized in Moscow. Intelligence emphasizes that the mobilization campaign in Russia continues “in different ways, in different ways.” However, only forced mobilization takes place, which does not affect the children of officials and oligarchs. More often, those who have only recently received a Russian passport are mobilized.
This is an indicator of the criteria for obtaining a Russian passport, which creates a potential threat. With a high probability, a person will be captured and sent to war,” Yusov emphasized.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate also added that the Russian invaders in Ukraine have only one chance to stay alive – to voluntarily surrender.
Recall that on August 17, the Atesh partisan movement reported that the Russian invaders were preparing to carry out a large-scale mobilization of almost all age groups of the population of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Illegal mobilization may begin after the so-called elections in the occupied territories, which the Russians have planned for September.
