A court in Kyiv on Friday, August 18, extended the measure of detention to sentence Aleksey Tandyr, who shot a National Guard fighter to death at a checkpoint in the capital. It was reported by Suspіlne.

Recall that on the evening of May 26, the head of the Makarovsky District Court of the Kyiv region, Alexei Tandyr, near a checkpoint in the capital, shot a 23-year-old fighter of the National Guard. The soldier died on the spot from his injuries.
The referee is driving while drunk. Suspicion was revealed to him, and later a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.
The Supreme Council of Justice temporarily removed Tandyr from his duties as a judge.
