Adin from the “Humvees” during the assault on the positions of the invaders ran into an anti-tank mine. This happened after the landing of part of the defenders, when the shooter from the jeep covered them with fire from a heavy machine gun. Despite the explosion, the American armor managed to save the lives of the servicemen of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On August 17, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published the corresponding video on Twitter.
The footage shows that the marines who were in the salope of the SUV survived. The driver and the fighters were able to leave the car on their own. The hostile position resulting from the assault was carried away.
The Humvee itself was damaged but remained intact. Probably, the armored car can still be restored.
