On Thursday, August 17, the Azov special forces brigade published a video of how it works in the Zaporozhye direction and destroys an enemy infantry vehicle. In the footage, you can see how the enemy unit, after two hits, turns into a pile of scrap metal. This was reported by the press service of “Azov”.
As you know, the Azov brigade is a military formation of the National Guard of Ukraine, created on May 5, 2014 in Berdyansk, like other battalions of the special police patrol service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the beginning of the Russian invasion, the “Azovites”, in particular, defended Mariupol from the occupying forces. The heroes held out to the last and inflicted huge losses on the enemy. And on May 17, the high military command ordered the commanders of units at Azovstal to save the lives of the personnel – the soldiers were captured by the Russians.
On July 8, Ukrainian soldiers Radish, Kalina, Volyn, Khomenko and Schlega returned home from Turkey.
Recall that on August 17, the National Guard announced that the Azov brigade had returned to the front. “Azov” began to carry out combat missions in the area of the Serebryansky forestry in the Luhansk region. The fighters hold the occupied lines and inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
