Eurostat said seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU in the second quarter of 2023.
The GDP of eurozone countries grew by 0.3% in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter. This is confirmed by data from Eurostat.
“In the second quarter of 2023, GDP, seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.3% in the euro area and was stable in the EU compared to the previous quarter,” the statement said.
In the first quarter of 2023, GDP remained stable in the Eurozone and increased by 0.2% in the EU.
Compared to the same quarter last year, seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU in the second quarter of 2023.
As previously reported, unblocking the ports will give Ukraine 10% of GDP.
