If we talk about energy, then I have certain experiences. We talked about this with the Prime Minister (Denis Shmygal – ed.), and with the Minister of Energy (Herman Galushchenko – ed.), We expect his visit to Lviv next week. Last winter, there were a lot of substation failures. And I have worries about how we will get through this next autumn-winter period,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
He stressed that the relevant work in Lviv continues, but it is necessary to speed up the pace of preparation.
We have 6 thousand shelters. Of these, 1500 have appropriately equipped heating points inside. Also, all organizations and institutions have powerful diesel generation. Our medical institutions also have a spare. This work is done. Now we are strengthening. But it is important that there be a more active position at the state level in terms of energy capacities,” Sadovyi added.
According to him, online learning can only be temporary and has no effect.
Schools are properly equipped, there are shelters,” Sadovyi said.
He added that the last phases of preparation of schools are now underway, an inspection is being carried out. However, the work is voluminous.
Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense does not rule out a repeat of last year’s scenario. Regarding the format of the exercises in the schools of Ukraine, as the government decided, the regions should make separate decisions in accordance with the safe situation.
