The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) summoned former Health Minister Maxim Stepanov for questioning. This was reported by the press service of NABU.
“Stepanov Maxim Vladimirovich, you must come on August 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine at the address: Kyiv, Vasily Surikov St., 3 for interrogation as a suspect in criminal proceedings No . 52019000000000925 dated October 19, 2019 and received petitions for the election of a preventive measure,” the statement said.
Bureau detectives summoned another figurant in this case – citizen Yulia Pilipko. He is scheduled to appear at NABU on August 18 at 14:00 to be questioned as a suspect and receive a motion to impose a preventive measure.
It should be noted that Maxim Stepanov, who at one time was the director of the State Enterprise Polygraph Combine, appears in criminal proceedings on fraud with passports for UAH 450 million.
