The Russian base was struck at about 11:00 today, 16 August. This was reported by the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.
Earlier, Piotr Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, announced about the “arrival” at the point of the occupiers in the Volna camp. He stressed that not a single local was injured, “except for the windows affected.” However, the number of dead Russian military went to dozens.
The occupying army itself was silent about the fact of the defeat of the premises with its officers. The enemy wanted to then present a fake story that the dead were exclusively local residents. However, in the end, they released cropped photos.
Recall that on August 13, in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, resistance forces liquidated the base of the occupiers by arson. The barracks and three cars of the occupiers burned down. At least 10 enemy soldiers were taken to hospitals.
