Experts have announced the beginning of the El Niño phenomenon, a phenomenon of a sharp increase in the temperature of the surface layer of water in the equatorial Pacific Ocean, which means extreme heat, drought and catastrophic floods and rains in many regions in the world.
This phenomenon will cause heat in the Ukrainian region. Forecasters predict a warm, and sometimes even hot September in Ukraine, mostly without rain. The air temperature in the first decade of the month will remain at +11…+15°C at night and +22…+26°C during the day.
In the second decade it will be cooler – up to +19…+25°C during the day and +12…+14°C at night. The summer season will finally end in the third decade of September. The regions of Ukraine are covered by cold air masses. The air temperature will drop to +9…+12°C at night and +19…+20°C during the day.
In Kyiv, the air temperature in the first half of September will remain at +22…+26°C during the day. In the second – it will be colder – up to +19 … + 25 ° C during the day.
