The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. There is partial success in the area of ​​the village of Robotino, Zaporozhye region.

This was announced today, August 12, in the evening building of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces … had partial success in the Robotino region of the Zaporozhye region, are gaining a foothold on the achieved lines, and are carrying out counter-battery measures, the report says.

In addition, Ukrainian aviation inflicted 10 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy in a day, and units of missile troops and artillery hit the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile system and one artillery weapon in a firing position.

The enemy also conducted offensive operations during the day:

• in the Kupyansk direction, he conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas northeast of Sinkovka, north of Kislovka and southeast of Andreevka, Kharkov region;
• in the Bakhmut direction, he conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Kleshcheevka and Belaya Gora, Donetsk region;
• in the Avdiivka direction, under heavy enemy air and artillery fire, our defenders continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Avdiivka area;
• in the Maryinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the offensive of the Russian troops in the area of ​​the city of Maryinka, Donetsk region;
• in the Shakhtyorsk direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the Urozhaynoye area of ​​the Donetsk region.
