So, the Russians are trying to pull the Ukrainian troops in the Luhansk region from the front sectors where they succeeded.
In the Lugansk region, the Russian occupiers are increasing their presence and trying to pull the Defense Forces away from frontline sectors where Ukrainian soldiers are successful. This was announced by the head of Luhansk OVA Artem Lysogor on Telegram on August 13.
“The attackers opened fire on villages along the front line. Nevskoye and Belogorivka were their daily targets. There they increased the air pressure by conducting air strikes. In total, in for several weeks now, the Russians have been increasing their presence, trying to pull our troops in the Luhansk region from the front sectors where we are winning. The defenders of Ukraine are bravely resisting all of the intentions of the enemy,” he said.
According to the head of OVA, today, due to multimillion-dollar debts, the mines of Dovzhansk and the surrounding settlements are under the threat of blackout.
“In particular, the local association Vostokugol has been disconnected from the power. Businesses do not have to pay anything, because the coal from the mines is exported to the territory of the Russian Federation, and the money does not come from there. The occupation administration of the city and the so-called LPR are silent,” added Lisogor.
Recall that earlier the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders were suffering heavy losses in the Luhansk region. In particular, the number of wounded and dead invaders in the direction of Svatovo-Kremennaya increased dramatically.
