“Eight times the enemy tried to attack our positions, struck 328 times with all types and calibers of artillery – from mortars to multiple rocket launchers, carried out 10 air raids by combat helicopters and aircraft attack. In the course of repelling enemy attacks, 69 invaders were destroyed, 97 were wounded, two T-72 tanks, three armored vehicles were shot down, one D-30 howitzer was destroyed, a seven-millimeter mortar, two enemy ZALA-type drones and a company command and observation post,” said Cherevaty.
He made sure that the attempts of the Russians were unsuccessful.
“This indicates that they cannot achieve any significant progress there for a long time, at least at the level of tactical success. It indicates that a competent defense has been built there, especially, the commander, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky, was there recently, who gave additional instructions, instructions and strengthened this grouping in our reserves.
