Moscow has threatened Washington of direct confrontation if arms supplies to Ukraine continue.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the risk of direct clashes with the United States due to the supply of weapons to Ukraine. The said statement on Wednesday, June 1, was made by the deputy head of the department, Sergei Ryabkov.

According to him, U.S. arms supplies to Ukraine, “no matter how hostile they are to Washington,” increase the risk of direct clashes between the U.S. and Russia.
Moscow has consistently insisted that it can achieve the objectives of its “special operation” in Ukraine in any case.
“The fact that the United States, at the head of a group of states, deliberately bombed weapons at the Kyiv regime is obvious,” Ryabkov said.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden said Washington would not provide long-range MLRS to Kyiv.
According to media reports, the United States plans to give Ukraine a guided multiple launch rocket system with missiles with a range of about 65 kilometers.
