Ukraine will do everything within the framework of international law and criminal law to protect its interests, the Foreign Minister assured.
It is likely that in the autumn Ukraine will be forced to negotiate with Russia. And these voices will be heard from different countries of the world. This was said by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba in a conversation with journalist Vadim Karpyak.
“It will be a very difficult political period, I warn everyone. We will certainly win on all fronts, but it will be a difficult autumn,” said Kuleba.
He assured that Ukraine will do everything within the framework of international law and criminal law to “make these voices disappear, because all of them are completely out of time.”
Kuleba spoke about President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent meeting with diplomats, where the head of state set several tasks for them: holding the Peace Formula summit, attracting patrons to the post-war reconstruction process of Ukraine, and restarting grain corridors.
The minister said that a large number of international summits are planned for the fall, where Ukraine needs the “quantitative and qualitative presence of the whole world, and not only traditional friends from Europe and North America.”
Another task assigned to the diplomats was to ensure that the Russians “under their feet will burn the earth around the world.”
Earlier, Kuleba assessed the chances of meetings between Putin and Zelensky. At the same time, negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow are possible only with the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine, the minister said.
