I participated in the NWO, but all this time I was on the territory of the Russian Federation. I have not been on the territory of Ukraine, – says the officer. – We were engaged in providing Russian troops with ammunition. We received ammunition from all over Russia, from all units, from all arsenals, and distributed them to brigades, units directly to Ukraine,” says Korolyov.
The soldier served in military unit 59313-39 – this is the “Joint Strategic Command of the Eastern Military District.” In normal times, this part is deployed in the village of Teisin, Khabarovsk Territory, the BBC Russian Service notes.
The publication writes that Korolev managed to get to Vilnius, where he was detained by operatives of the Lithuanian border service at the Vilnius bus station on August 10. After that, he was returned to the border checkpoint, where he stayed for another day.
According to Korolev, on August 3, he decided to leave Russia because he did not want to participate “in a bloody war.” The asylum application was accepted for consideration, after which it was sent to the migration center in Pabrade.
In June, Russian military aviation pilot Dmitry Mishov fled to Lithuania in a similar way. He also stated that he did not agree to participate in the Ukrainian war. He was allowed to live in Lithuania until his documents are processed.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, EU countries have been debating whether they should grant political asylum to Russians who refuse to fight – both military personnel and those who refuse to mobilize.
There is no consensus on this issue. Several German ministers have said that Germany will provide temporary asylum to Russian citizens who avoid mobilization. At the same time, several EU countries, such as the Czech Republic, Estonia and Latvia, opposed the granting of protection to uhilyants.
