    On the OLX service, all advertisements for the sale of tickets for Ukrzaliznytsia trains will be blocked.

    .

    So the carrier is trying to fight scammers and speculators. The announcement of the sale of railway tickets, which were previously placed on OLX, has already been removed.

    The service also assured that they have developed an algorithm that will not allow publishing such ads in the future.

    Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia explained why it has become more difficult to buy train tickets now:

    • the railway is involved in the transportation of “everyone and everything”, in particular, within the framework of strategic and non-public tasks;

    • in the priority of booking tickets for military, diplomatic missions, group orders for children from Kherson, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk region, who are being taken for recovery.

    However, the main problem is resellers who, with the help of bots, buy tickets at the time they appear (20 days before the train leaves). Therefore, the carrier announced that it had revised the return procedure to counteract abuse.

    Tickets for long-distance flights of the Polish direction will be returned exclusively in a pretentious manner through the ticket office. Thus, the national carrier will ensure maximum transparency, preventing possible abuses with the purchase, return and resale of tickets.

    The sale of international flights of Ukrzaliznytsia from July 26 is carried out as follows:

    • Trains 23/24 and 19/20 Kyiv-Chelm – sale through the online services of Ukrzaliznytsia, return in a claim procedure through the box office.
    • Train 93/94 Kharkiv-Chelm – sale through the online services of Ukrzaliznytsia, return in a pretentious manner through the box office.
    • Train 36/35 Odessa-Przemysl – sale through the online services of Ukrzaliznytsia, return in a pretentious manner through the box office.
    • Train 32/31 Zaporozhye-Przemysl – sale through the online services of Ukrzaliznytsia, return in a pretentious manner through the box office.
    • Train No. 67/68 Kyiv-Warsaw – sale only through the mobile application of Ukrzaliznytsia, the return is pretentious through the box office.
    • “Intercity +” No. 705/706, 715/716 Kyiv-Przemysl – sale through all online services, return is possible online.
    • Train No. 351K/351L Kyiv-Chisinau – sale through all online services, return is possible online.
    • Trains No. 749/149 Kiev-Vienna, No. 140/149 Chop-Vienna, No. 961/962, 963/964 Mukachevo-Kosice, No. 31, 33/34 Mukachevo-Budapest – tickets are sold and returned through the box office (integration by the railways of these countries is still ongoing).

    All international flights of Ukrzaliznytsia have a sales depth of 20 days.

    Sales for the busiest train No. 67/68 Kyiv-Warsaw will start daily at 09.00, for all other directions daily at 08.00.

    The railway also clearly defines the time of getting into the online ticket sales upon the return of passengers:

    • seats returned by passengers more than a day before the train departure will be returned to sale at 10.00 2 days before departure;
    • seats handed over by passengers on the day of train departure are returned to open sale within 30 minutes from the moment the ticket was returned.
