Significantly increased the number of deaths from the Moscow region. Volunteers provided data to journalists from cemeteries near Moscow.
Journalists have established more than 1,300 new names of Russian soldiers who died during the war of occupation in Ukraine. Their total number exceeded 30,000, Mediazona reported on Friday, August 11.
It is noted that in two weeks it was known about 1351 dead thanks to public reports.
“As in previous weeks, we noticed a slightly more than usual increase in the number of dead missile and artillery troops,” the journalists wrote.
Thus, the number of deaths from the Moscow region increased significantly. This is due to the fact that volunteers provided data to journalists from cemeteries near Moscow.
It was also learned about the extermination of four lieutenant colonel officers – Yegor Boldyrev, Andrei Koval, Anatoly Matinov and Sergei Savenok.
In total, there are now 30,003 names on the list of dead Russian soldiers. At the same time, it is emphasized that the actual number of killed Russian soldiers is much higher.
So, in July, journalists calculated that at least 47,000 Russians under the age of 50 died in the war against Ukraine. The conclusion was made based on the statistics of the register of inheritance cases and data of Rosstat. But even these data were found to be far from complete.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nearly 253,000 Russians have died since the full-scale war began. In just one day on August 10, 580 conquerors were minted.
